VDA recommendation for creating forwarding orders.
This paper replaces the conventional bill of lading and is required for the freight forwarder's settlement with the customer. Normally, this is the car manufacturer, as they have the goods transported by selected regional carriers. Since version 2 from August 1998, the forwarding order also contains barcode fields.
