Message Standards

Standard that defines the syntax, data elements and segments of a message, e.g. EDIFACT, VDA, Odette, ANSI X.12.

Message-Header

Segment of a message that opens and uniquely identifies it.

Message-Segments

These segments identify certain sections of a message, e.g. header information, packaging information.
